The Solution
Following an internal review, Aaron Dewhurst, Operations Director at The Glass Wipe Board Company believed that they would become more efficient and profitable if they brought the spraying operation in-house.
“We looked at the market place to see who had proven knowledge and experience of spraying equipment and processes”, said Aaron. “We contacted the Maidstone branch of Hi-Tec Spray Limited who responded by sending a senior technician and sales specialist to discuss our requirements. We found the Hi-Tec team to be experts – they simply had the knowledge and experience of spray systems and products”.
A detailed design and plan was produced by Hi-Tec Spray to meet the requirements of The Glass Wipe Board Company. Special consideration was given to the use of correct filters for the spray booth to ensure foreign matter did not enter the sensitive process of The Glass Wipe Board Company’s manufacturing process.
Hi-Tec Spray supplied a 3,000mm wide dry filter spray booth with compressor, spray equipment and suitable ducting and duct silencer. Drying racks and storage cabinets for hazardous substances were also installed.
The project took less than a week to install and become operational.
